Annual Reports were usually issued in October at the Annual General Meeting and report on the hospital’s activity in the preceding financial year (normally 1 July to the following 30 June.)

This set was kept in the Chief Executive Officer's office until 1995 and is the most complete set from the hospital's foundation in 1856 until 1946. Three additional bound volumes exist for the period 1947-1973, but were located elsewhere. A similar set is held by the RWH Library.
